Shirt & Tie Card

I am finally back from my girls weekend in Dallas! We had a blast and the BEST part is that they are coming to see me next weekend... I'm so excited! Having things planned makes the time pass much faster with Tyson being on the rig.

So I have just enjoyed looking at all the lovely Father's Day card inspiration. One of my favorite cards I've seen are the darling shirt and tie cards... they are just so CUTE! I of course had to try one... hope you enjoy!

Treat Bags

Evening all my wonderful followers!

This week at work we are having our Master Chef graduation and the kids have been looking forward to it all year long! Within a 9 month time span, these kids had to take 6 tests and pass each one with a 70 or higher. For every test they passed they received a patch and once they have received all their patches they earn a chef's jacket. We had a total of 18 graduates this year in that program, which is very exciting!

Since they all worked so hard this year, I made them some treat bags to go along with their certificates and jackets that they received. The kids absolutely LOVED them!

Evening all!
I have been so busy traveling lately, just in Houston... its too dang big! Tyson is back on the rig... the time just seems to fly by way too quickly. The good news... I will have LOTS more projects for ya'll since I will have nothing BUT time on my hands!

My skydiving adventure didn't happen... it was too overcast for us to jump. I am still planning on jumping, just have to pick a new date now. Will definitely let ya'll know though.

For you!

Happy Friday all! Waiting for some more rain to come our way, but it doesn't look to promising. We sure need it here in TX!

I might be jumping out of a perfectly good airplane on Saturday... I'm so terrified! If I do I will certainly show ya'll pics and video. This is going to take a lot from me to accomplish, but if I don't do it tomorrow I'm not sure I ever will.

Anyways... here's a card I made for the FCCB Challenge #60. The challenge is to make a project using a rectangle and a triangle on it. Had lots of fun with this challenge as I do with any challenge. Have been slacking a little on them, but am ready to get back into them!

Anyways... I have a couple of cards for you that I made a while back at a card class. Now this is not my design, but I did have the privilege of making them and getting to share them with ya'll! All props go to the lovely Elizabeth.

Happy Engagement!

About to be on my way to Austin for my brother's engagement party! How much fun! He asked his girlfriend to marry him about a month or so ago while at the Olive Garden and she of course said YES! So happy for them and their future together!

I've made a couple of cards for them and they turned out so cute!

Since I'm kind of on a tight time schedule to make it to Austin, I will come back and post the recipes for these cards tomorrow! Hope ya'll have a TERRIFIC TUESDAY!

My blog is Cricut-Tastic!

A big thanks goes out to Donya of OKScrappinMama who passed this award onto me! Thank you so much for thinking of me for this lovely award!

Here are the rules:
Wear ths badge proudly on your blog and share it with friends. Share this award with 10 people that you think have Cricut-tastic blogs. You also have to tell 5 cricut related things about yourself.

Here are my 5 things:
1) The moment I saw a Cricut Expression in action, I HAD to have it! The possibilities are endless!
2) I always use the Cricut Cutting Guide by Megan at Above Rubies Studios. It is such a GREAT thing to have!
3) I always cut out a few extras and save them for later projects or cards.
4) I usually shop for my Cricut carts on ebay and sometimes in pawn shops... you'd be surprised what good quality carts you can find!
5) And just like every other Cricut lover... I'm dreaming of getting my hands on the lovely Cricut Expression 2!

I would love to pass this award onto these wonderful ladies:

Last minute entry

Evening all!

Am cutting it close for FCCB Challenge #57, but am so excited to share what I made with all of you!
This is a special order going to a mom of a Texas Country artist and all I knew is that she loves wine!

Here is the lovely card I came up with!

Pulled out my Wild Card Cart for this one and cut the Celebrate card at 5 1/2", as well as the layers. For the cork... I cut a piece of cardstock with my cricut, traced it onto my cork paper and then cut it out by hand.

Then for the foil on the wine bottle I just got a regular piece of tin foil and inked it with some Tim Holtz Alcohol Ink to turn it the gold color!

Recipe:
Card Size - 5 1/2"
Mat Size - 5 1/4" x 4"
Brown & Yellow Cardstock - DCWV
Patterned Cardstock - The Paper Studio
Cork Paper - Hobby Lobby
Stamp - MPS Happiest Moments Set
Ink- Stampin Up! Early Espresso & Tim Holtz Alcohol Ink
Punch & Twine - Stampin Up!
Aluminum Foil
ATG gun, Glue Dots

Hope you enjoy!
