Great Gift Idea

Evening all!
Went to another fabulous card class by the wonderful Patsy today. (Patsy got this idea from another Stampin Up demonstrator, Connie Stewart).  We made a card gift box with four cards. These make a GREAT gift for any occasion and are very simple to make.

And every year we go to a Halloween party and this year we went as Fred & Wilma Flintstone. Now they didn't have the white Wilma dress so I had to improvise a bit.

As always, hope ya'll enjoy! Will be back very soon with more creations!

More Quilling

Morning all!

Hope everyone is doing well! Took my sweet bulldog to the vet this morning for surgery and her annual check up. She absolutely loves going to the vet and socializing with all the other dogs.

Have a couple of mini cards to show ya'll. I put my quilling skills to work and created some new shapes!

Pumpkin Arrangement

It's been another crazy busy week at work, but it is certainly a good thing. Am loving all the hours I'm getting!

Thought I'd change things up a bit and do something completely different than paper crafts. I saw this at my friend's house and just fell in love with it. They are the perfect centerpiece for Thanksgiving.

To start out, just purchase a styrofoam pumpkin that's carvable.

Then carve a hole in the center of the pumpkin.

Now arrange your flowers or whatever else you'd like to put in the display. And there you have it, a quick and easy display for Thanksgiving!

Hope you enjoy!

Had another recipe swap last night and it was so much fun as always! If ya'll are not in any swaps, I highly recommend them!

The recipe I used for this card is one of my favorites. It's green beans wrapped in bacon and smothered with brown sugar and butter. Oh so good!

New Storage Bin!

Went to Archiver's again tonight and was able to get a few things done... will post all those soon. Tomorrow I'm going to the Katy Rice Festival which should be lots of fun! There will be over 200 booths set up, ah!

So while I was at Archiver's I of course had to do a little shopping. I found a great storage bin for all my lovely Cricut carts. Maybe now I will use them more often now that they aren't in their boxes anymore.

Just am LOVING this new bin I invested in! It works well! Hope everyone has a GREAT weekend!

Card Box

Been trying to keep myself busy with the hubby being gone. Have a fun class coming up this Sunday, we'll be making 3-D Treats! Can't wait!

So I finally learned how to make a cute card box! (From the wonderful Patsy! - Thank you!) This box will hold 8 cards depending on the amount of embellishments. These are great for stationery sets or as gift holders as well.

Hope all is well with everyone. Have another challenge coming your way probably by next week so keep checking back!
